The pieces furniture shops can't build.
Walls of books, hidden wine cabinets, window seats, mudroom benches, media millwork. Drawn around your home and built for it alone.
Built-ins worth commissioning
A built-in costs more than furniture because it has to fit exactly one room exactly once. Done right, it pays you back in function, storage, and resale value for decades. Done wrong, it's a permanent eyesore. We only take on built-in work we're confident will age well.
If it lives against a wall and needs to look like it belongs, we can build it.
- Library walls — Floor-to-ceiling, with ladder hardware if you want it.
- Media walls — TV and component storage with concealed cable management.
- Window seats — Drawer or lift-top storage, custom cushions sourced to match.
- Mudroom benches — Lockers, hooks, shoe storage. Built for families that actually use them.
- Wine cabinets — Climate-controlled or ambient, display rack to bottle rack.
- Hidden doors — Bookcase doors, panelled walls. More common than you'd think.
- Wet bars & coffee stations — Built around your appliances and your rituals.
How we price built-ins
Built-ins vary too much for rate cards. We quote in person after a site visit and design conversation. Small pieces (window seats, coffee stations) tend to start around $4,000. Larger commissions (full library walls, wine rooms) run $18,000 to $60,000+. Every quote is itemised.
